Which membership is right for me?
All four memberships include an at-home blood draw, nurse practitioner review, AI health app with your Longevity Score, and a personal longevity coaching session. The difference is how deep your blood panel goes, whether you get advanced tests, and how much coaching you receive.
Annual Focus ($299/year) tests 40+ biomarkers covering your core blood health, lipids, inflammation, thyroid, and metabolic function. You get one 30-minute coaching session. This is the most accessible way to get ahead of your health with real clinical data.
Annual Starter ($499/year) tests 50+ biomarkers. Everything in Focus, plus Glucose, Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin B12, Uric Acid, and biometric measurements like blood pressure and body composition. You get one 60-minute coaching session. Our most popular membership.
Semiannual Baseline ($599/6 months) tests 70+ biomarkers. Everything in Starter, plus the full hormonal panel (testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, DHEAS, cortisol), advanced thyroid (Free T3, Free T4), and complete iron metabolism. You also get one advanced test per year (DNA, VO2 Max, DEXA, or CGM) and two 60-minute coaching sessions per year.
Quarterly Complete ($699/quarter) is the full longevity protocol. You get a new testing touchpoint every 3 months through the Longevity Kit Blueprint, covering blood, DNA, body composition, metabolic health, and cognitive function. 120+ biomarkers across your first year, all advanced tests included, and four 60-minute coaching sessions per year.
What's the difference between the blood panels in each tier?
All four tiers test your core blood health: complete blood count, lipid panel (including ApoB and Lp(a)), inflammation markers (hsCRP), liver function, thyroid (TSH), Ferritin, and Vitamin D.
Annual Starter adds metabolic depth: Glucose, Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin B12, Uric Acid, and biometric measurements (blood pressure, BMI, waist circumference).
Semiannual Baseline adds the full hormonal panel (testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, DHEAS, cortisol, SHBG), advanced thyroid (Free T3 and Free T4 in addition to TSH), complete iron metabolism (Iron, TIBC, Transferrin Saturation), Folate, and Creatine Kinase.
If hormonal health, advanced thyroid, or iron status matters to you, Semiannual Baseline is the tier where that data lives. Focus and Starter do not include hormones.
What does "120+ biomarkers" mean for Quarterly Complete?
Quarterly Complete members don't get 120 biomarkers in a single blood draw. The 120+ figure reflects the total unique biomarkers tested across your first year through the Longevity Kit Blueprint. At month 0, you receive the Baseline blood panel (73 biomarkers). At month 9, you receive the Starter blood panel (56 biomarkers). Combined with your advanced tests throughout the year, you accumulate over 120 unique data points. After year one, you receive the Baseline panel annually, plus ongoing advanced tests and coaching every quarter.
Do you offer in-clinic blood draws?
Yes. If you're in Ontario, you can choose to visit a Dynacare walk-in location for your blood draw instead of having a phlebotomist come to your home. No appointment is needed at Dynacare. Just walk in when it's convenient for you. Your tests, results, coaching, and everything else about your membership are exactly the same. The only difference is where your blood is drawn.
The in-clinic option saves you $50–100 depending on your tier: Annual Focus drops from $299 to $199/year, Annual Starter from $499 to $399/year, Semiannual Baseline from $599 to $549/6 months, and Quarterly Complete from $699 to $649/quarter.
This option is currently available in Ontario, where Dynacare has a broad walk-in footprint. We're working on expanding to additional provinces. If you're outside Ontario, choose the At Home option for full nationwide service.
Can I add extra blood tests to my membership?
Yes. We offer two specialty blood panels that can be purchased individually:
Fatty Acid Panel ($399 at-home / $299 in-clinic) — Analyzes 38 individual fatty acids to help you understand how well your body absorbs and utilizes these nutrients. Fatty acids influence brain health, heart health, inflammation, and energy metabolism. Includes a 30-minute coaching session, NP review, and results in your app.
Environmental Toxin & Metal Panel ($349 at-home / $249 in-clinic) — Screens for 14 toxic and essential trace metals including arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury, and zinc. These metals can accumulate through food, water, and environmental exposure. Includes a 30-minute coaching session, NP review, and results in your app.
Both panels are available as add-ons or as standalone one-time purchases. Browse all available tests in our Individual Tests store.
How do I schedule my blood draw?
After you sign up and complete your onboarding health profile, our scheduling team will reach out to you by text and email within 48 hours. They'll work with you to find a date and time that fits your schedule. Many members are able to book their draw within the first week. Once booked, there is a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment may incur a fee.
How is this different from the blood work my doctor orders?
A typical GP blood panel covers 10–15 markers and is designed to detect existing conditions. MyHealthspan tests 40 to 70+ biomarkers depending on your tier, including markers your doctor typically won't order, like ApoB, Lp(a), hsCRP, hormonal panels, and advanced metabolic markers. The goal is early detection and optimization, not just diagnosis. You also get a longevity coach who walks you through your results and builds a personalized action plan, which your GP visit doesn't include.
Memberships & Pricing
How are memberships billed?
All memberships are billed in full at checkout. Annual Focus and Annual Starter are billed once per year. Semiannual Baseline is billed every 6 months. Quarterly Complete is billed every 3 months. The monthly prices shown on our site (like "$42/month" for Annual Starter) are display equivalents to help you compare. You are not charged monthly.
Can I upgrade, pause, or cancel my membership?
Yes. Your membership can change as your health journey evolves. Upgrade anytime to increase testing frequency or unlock kits immediately. Pause or cancel through your account with no penalties or hidden fees. Downgrade at your next renewal if you want less frequent testing. We send reminders 2 months and 1 month before your next renewal so you have plenty of time to decide. Once you cancel, we stop all future charges.
What is your refund policy?
We prioritize customer satisfaction. If a service has already been ordered, shipped, or completed after payment, we consider this a fulfillment of the agreement and don't normally issue refunds. However, we encourage you to reach out to us at connect@myhealthspan.com with any concerns. We'll listen to your situation and work to resolve it to the best of our ability. Once a cancellation is made, no further recurring charges will apply.
Is MyHealthspan covered by my benefits plan or HSA/FSA?
Yes. MyHealthspan memberships are HSA and FSA eligible. Many employer health spending accounts cover preventive health services like ours. We provide a detailed receipt you can submit for reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so check with your plan administrator. If your employer offers MyHealthspan as a workplace benefit, you may be eligible for a discounted or fully covered membership.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Your membership price covers everything included in your tier: blood draw, lab processing, nurse practitioner review, AI health app, Longevity Score, and coaching session(s). Individual tests and specialty panels are clearly listed and priced separately. You'll never be surprised by unexpected charges.
Testing & Blood Draws
How does the at-home blood draw work?
After you purchase your membership and complete your onboarding health profile, our scheduling team contacts you within 48 hours by text and email. You pick a date and time that works for you. A certified phlebotomist comes to your home, and the draw takes about 10–15 minutes. No fasting is typically required, but your confirmation message will include any specific prep instructions for your panel.
How long until I get my results?
Blood test results are typically processed within 3–4 days after your draw. DNA and genetic test results take 3–4 weeks. In-clinic assessments may vary slightly based on scheduling. You'll get a notification when results are ready, and everything appears in your MyHealthspan app alongside your Longevity Score and next-step recommendations.
How do the advanced tests work for Semiannual Baseline members?
Semiannual Baseline members receive their Baseline blood panel (70+ biomarkers) at month 0, then one advanced test of their choice at month 6, alternating every 6 months. Two months before your advanced test is due, we email you to ask which test you'd like. You can choose from: Hereditary DNA, Epigenetic DNA, APOE DNA, VO2 Max, DEXA Body Scan, or Continuous Glucose Monitor. We also recommend a default based on your initial blood results if you'd prefer guidance.
If you don't want to wait 6 months for your advanced test, you have two options: email us at connect@myhealthspan.com to request receiving your next test sooner on your current plan, or upgrade to Quarterly Complete where testing touchpoints arrive every 3 months.
How does the Quarterly Complete Longevity Kit "blueprint" work?
Quarterly Complete follows a structured testing schedule designed to build a complete picture of your health across every dimension:
Month 0: Baseline Kit — 73-biomarker blood panel + epigenetic age DNA test. Establish your foundation.
Month 3: Hereditary Kit — 163-gene comprehensive hereditary DNA screen + genetic counselor appointment.
Month 6: Cardiac Kit — Cardiac blood panel + in-clinic VO2 max assessment.
Month 9: Metabolic Kit — 14-day continuous glucose monitor + in-clinic DEXA body scan.
Month 12: Cognitive Kit — APOE DNA test + cognitive DNA methylation + cognitive function assessment.
Month 15+: Maintenance Kits — Alternating blood panels and advanced assessments (VO2 max, DEXA) every 6 months to sustain your longevity gains.
Each kit includes a 60-minute coaching session. The sequence can be adjusted based on your priorities. Talk to your coach if you'd like to reorder.
What should I expect for DNA tests?
DNA tests use a saliva collection kit that arrives at your home. You provide a saliva sample following the included instructions, then mail it back in the prepaid envelope provided. Results typically take 3–4 weeks to process, depending on the specific test. Once ready, they appear in your MyHealthspan app with a detailed report.
How do VO2 max and DEXA scan appointments work?
For in-clinic assessments like VO2 max and DEXA body scans, our team emails you to coordinate your visit at a partner clinic location. We handle the booking and provide you with the appointment details, location, and any prep instructions. These assessments are included in Semiannual Baseline (as your advanced test choice) and Quarterly Complete (as part of the Longevity Kit Blueprint).
Do I need to fast before my blood draw?
Most of our panels do not require fasting. If your specific panel does require fasting or any other preparation (such as pausing certain supplements), we'll include clear instructions in your scheduling confirmation. Your coach can also answer any prep questions.
Are MyHealthspan's tests accurate and reliable?
Yes. We work with accredited Canadian laboratories and use scientifically validated methods. Every set of blood test results is reviewed by a certified nurse practitioner before being released to you. Our medical team, led by Dr. Zia Poonja, oversees all testing protocols to ensure clinical accuracy.
How do I prepare for a blood draw?
A little prep goes a long way toward an easy draw and accurate results. Hydrate well the day before and the morning of your draw, as water helps make veins easier to find. Wear loose sleeves so your arm is easy to access. Follow any fasting instructions provided (if your test requires fasting, we'll tell you clearly). Let us know ahead of time if you take regular medications or supplements, have fainted during blood draws before, or feel anxious around needles.
After your draw, keep gentle pressure on the site for a minute or two. Leave the bandage on for 4–6 hours. Avoid heavy lifting or intense training for the rest of the day. Drink extra water to rehydrate. If you notice unusual redness, swelling, or persistent pain (which is rare), let us know.
What specialty kits can I access, and what's inside each one?
Specialty kits let you go deep on a specific longevity pillar. They're included in the Quarterly Complete membership and available for individual purchase:
- Baseline Kit: 70+ biomarkers + biological age DNA methylation + coaching + Longevity Score + Baseline guide.
- Hereditary Kit: 163-gene hereditary DNA panel + genetic counselor + environmental cancer risk evaluation + coaching + Longevity Score + Cancer guide.
- Cardiac Kit: 50+ cardiac biomarkers + VO2 max assessment + coaching + Longevity Score + Cardiac guide.
- Metabolic Kit: 14-day CGM + DEXA body scan + coaching + Longevity Score + Metabolic guide.
- Cognitive Kit: APOE DNA + cognitive DNA methylation + cognitive function assessment + coaching + Longevity Score + Cognitive guide.
Semiannual Baseline members can choose one specialty kit per year as their advanced test. Quarterly Complete members receive all kits through the Longevity Kit Blueprint.
What should I expect during a blood draw?
A certified phlebotomist will come to your home (or meet you at a partner clinic) and walk you through everything. They'll place a tourniquet on your arm, clean the site, and draw a small amount of blood into a few tubes. You'll usually feel just a brief pinch. Once the draw is done, the needle comes out, gentle pressure is applied, and you'll get a bandage. Most appointments take about 10–15 minutes end to end.
Results & Your Health App
How will I receive my results?
All results are uploaded to your secure MyHealthspan app and dashboard. You'll receive an email notification when they're ready. You can review results, track trends over time, and download PDF reports to share with your healthcare provider.
Are my blood test results reviewed by a medical professional?
Yes. Every set of blood test results is reviewed by a certified nurse practitioner before being released to you. The NP identifies any clinically significant findings and flags them for your attention. This medical oversight layer ensures you're not just getting raw numbers but professionally reviewed insights.
What if a result shows something concerning?
That's exactly why we test early. If something stands out, your coach will explain what's urgent versus what's improvable. We'll outline a next-step medical or lifestyle path. We help generate a clean summary for your physician or referral. If needed, our blood lab professionals will contact you directly to escalate anything needing urgent attention. Most risks are best handled when found early, before they become problems.
What is the MyHealthspan Longevity Score?
Your Longevity Score is a single number that integrates your blood biomarkers, biometric data, and (for higher tiers) DNA insights and fitness assessments into one clear metric. Each time you test, your score updates to reflect your current health trajectory. It helps you see whether the changes you're making (diet, exercise, sleep, supplementation) are actually moving the needle.
Can I share my results with my doctor?
Absolutely. We encourage it. You can download a PDF report from your dashboard at any time. Many members share their results with their GP, naturopath, or specialist to complement their existing care.
Does MyHealthspan replace my doctor?
No. We complement traditional healthcare by focusing on proactive, data-driven prevention. Your primary care provider diagnoses and treats conditions. We help you understand your risks, build healthier habits, and track your progress with clinical data and coaching that your GP visit doesn't typically include.
How does MyHealthspan use AI?
AI is part of what makes MyHealthspan feel like a health operating system, not a lab report. We use AI to interpret large, multi-modal test panels (blood, DNA, CGM, scans) into clear insights, detect patterns and trends over time rather than just a single snapshot, personalize recommendations to your goals, history, and risk profile, and power the AI health coach in your dashboard so you can ask questions and get guidance between human coaching sessions.
Longevity Coaching
What does a longevity coaching session cover?
Your longevity coach walks through your results in detail, identifies the biomarkers that matter most for your health goals, and builds a personalized action plan covering nutrition, exercise, sleep, supplementation, and follow-up testing priorities. You leave with clear, specific next steps. Annual Focus members receive a 30-minute session. All other tiers include a full 60-minute session.
What are the qualifications of a MyHealthspan Longevity Coach?
Our coaches hold undergraduate degrees or recognized certifications in fields like Exercise Science, Health Sciences, Kinesiology, Nutrition, or Wellness Coaching. They also complete the MyHealthspan Longevity Coach Training Program, a specialized curriculum covering aging science, our metrics, behavior change, nutrition, exercise prescription, sleep optimization, and stress management. Training is led by our medical team, including Dr. Zia Poonja, and coaches must pass a certification exam before working with members.
How do I communicate with my coach?
After your test results are ready, you'll book your coaching session at a time that works for you. Sessions are conducted virtually via video call. Your coach follows up after the session to check on your progress and answer additional questions.
Do Longevity Coaches replace medical professionals?
No. Coaches focus on prevention and sustainable lifestyle changes. They are not licensed to diagnose or treat medical conditions. If a concern arises beyond their scope, such as abnormal thyroid markers or an unexpected finding, they'll encourage you to consult your primary care provider or a relevant specialist.
Privacy & Security
How does MyHealthspan protect my data?
We use industry-standard encryption, secure Canadian data centers, and strict access controls to safeguard your personal and health information. All health data is stored in Canada, encrypted at rest and in transit, and never shared with third parties without your consent.

As we prepare for future expansion, we are also building toward HIPAA compliance to meet U.S. privacy standards. Your data is handled with the highest standard of care regardless of where you're located.
Does MyHealthspan sell my data?
No. We do not sell your personal data. We use your information solely to deliver and improve our services, always prioritizing your privacy.
Will my data ever be shared with third parties?
Only when necessary for service delivery (for example, with our accredited partner labs for test processing), and always under strict privacy agreements. Lab sharing typically involves de-identified information. We only disclose personally identifiable data with your explicit consent, or when required by law.
