What’s included in the Every Day Longevity Program?

Each Longevity Kit may include blood panels, DNA-based tests, VO2 max assessments, DEXA scans, continuous glucose monitoring, and cognitive evaluations, depending on your individualized journey. You also receive your MyHealthspan Longevity Score™—a single, evolving measure of your long-term health potential—and ongoing support from your Longevity Coach.

How is the program customized for me?

Your age, blood results, and health priorities guide which tests you receive and in what order. As your data updates, we refine subsequent kits, ensuring they’re always focused on what matters most to your personal health journey.

Does the Every Day Longevity Program replace my doctor?

Individual Tests

What tests does MyHealthspan offer?

We provide comprehensive blood panels, genetic screenings (cancer and cardiac), DNA methylation tests for biological and cognitive age, VO2 max assessments, DEXA scans, and continuous glucose monitoring—among others.

How are tests selected and vetted by MyHealthspan?

Every test undergoes a rigorous review by our medical and scientific team, ensuring each measure is supported by human-based evidence linking it to healthspan or longevity.

How is MyHealthspan different from regular blood tests?

We go beyond standard blood work, analyzing dozens of biomarkers and combining them with genetic and fitness insights. This integrated approach provides a fuller picture of your long-term health potential.

What is DNA methylation testing?

DNA methylation tests measure epigenetic markers that influence gene expression. They can indicate your biological or cognitive “age” and show how lifestyle changes impact your aging process.

How are hereditary cancer and cardiovascular screens different from what my GP might order?

Our genetic screens assess dozens of genes linked to cancer or heart disease risk—more extensive than typical clinical screenings. This proactive approach helps identify predispositions and guide preventive steps.

Do you offer VO2 max, DEXA, and other in-clinic assessments?

Yes. Depending on your location, we partner with clinics for VO2 max tests and DEXA scans, providing key metrics on cardiovascular fitness and body composition.

Can I add a specific test after I’ve set up a round of tests?

Often, yes. Contact our support team, and we’ll help you customize your next round of assessments.

Do I need to fast or modify my diet before testing?

Some tests require fasting or avoiding supplements. We’ll provide clear instructions with each kit, and you can always reach out to your Coach if you have questions.

Are MyHealthspan’s tests accurate and reliable?

Yes. We work with accredited labs and use scientifically validated methods. Our medical team monitors accuracy to ensure you receive trustworthy insights.

Are the tests the same ones used by specialists?

We use high-quality, evidence-based tests that are equal to or surpass typical specialist standards. In some cases—such as comprehensive genetic screenings—you may receive even more extensive insights than commonly provided in a standard clinical setting.

Pricing, Insurance & Payment

What are the pricing options for the Every Day Longevity Program?

We offer three flexible options. Most customers pay per kit: Pay and receive each kit every three months. Others choose to save money by pre-paying for all five foundational kits upfront: Pay once and we'll send you the right kit every three months. The last option is paying a fixed rate every month: After a 3-month upfront, we'll charge you monthly and send each kit every three months.

Is MyHealthspan covered by insurance or HSA/HCSA/FSA?

Yes; HSA/HCSA/FSA accounts and many private insurance plans may cover our services, but it varies by provider. Check with your plan administrator, and we’ll provide necessary receipts and documentation to support your claim.

Will my insurance reimburse me for MyHealthspan-related expenses?

Reimbursement depends on your specific plan. Contact your insurer directly for details. We’ll supply documentation to help make the process smoother.

Why are lab tests usually so expensive, and how does MyHealthspan offer better value?

Traditional tests can be costly when ordered individually. We bundle advanced assessments, guidance, and coaching into one subscription. This integrated model reduces long-term costs, provides richer insights, and offers continuous support—delivering substantial value over time.

Is MyHealthspan an insurance plan?

No. MyHealthspan complements your existing healthcare. We focus on proactive, data-driven steps to improve healthspan, not on diagnosing or treating medical conditions.

Can I use my HSA/HCSA/FSA funds to pay for MyHealthspan?

Yes; check with your plan administrator for eligibility. We’re happy to provide any required documentation to facilitate the process.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my membership early?

Refunds depend on your payment plan and how far you’ve progressed in your testing cycle. Contact our support team, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs fairly.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. Our pricing is transparent. Any optional add-ons are clearly listed, so you’ll never be surprised by unexpected charges.

Science, Accuracy & Methodology

How does MyHealthspan ensure the accuracy of its tests?

We partner with accredited labs and rely on peer-reviewed research. Every new test is vetted by our Chief Medical Officer, ensuring it’s backed by human-based evidence and correlates strongly with improved health outcomes.

What is the MyHealthspan Longevity Score, and how is it calculated?

The Longevity Score™ integrates multiple data points—blood biomarkers, DNA insights, fitness assessments—into one clear metric. Each new test refines this score, reflecting your evolving health profile and the effectiveness of your lifestyle changes.

What scientific evidence supports your tests and metrics?

We only choose tests strongly associated with longevity and healthspan in human studies. Our team continuously reviews the latest research to keep our offerings current and evidence-based.

Why is VO2 max testing important for longevity?

VO2 max is a key indicator of cardiovascular fitness. Higher scores correlate with lower disease risk, greater endurance, and improved long-term well-being—making it a valuable metric for guiding exercise and lifestyle adjustments.

What’s the science behind DNA testing for hereditary risks?

Certain genetic variants increase risk for conditions like cancer or heart disease. Identifying these variants early helps you and your healthcare provider consider enhanced screenings and targeted interventions to reduce risks.

How does MyHealthspan use epigenetics (DNA methylation) to assess biological and cognitive age?

DNA methylation patterns shift with age and lifestyle factors. By examining these epigenetic markers, we estimate “biological” and “cognitive” ages. Improvements in diet, exercise, and stress management can influence these patterns over time.

How do biomarkers naturally fluctuate, and how do you address variability?

Factors like diet, sleep, and stress affect biomarkers. By testing at regular intervals and analyzing trends, we identify meaningful patterns rather than relying on a single data point.

What is the vetting process for introducing new tests or metrics?

We thoroughly review scientific literature for human-based evidence and correlate metrics with longevity outcomes. Our medical team then approves the test. Once validated, we integrate it into our panel and refine our guidance accordingly.

Results & Interpretation

Are my blood test results reviewed by a medical professional?

Yes. In addition to our rigorous testing standards, every set of blood test results is reviewed by a certified Nurse Practitioner (NP). This ensures your lab data is interpreted by a qualified healthcare professional who can identify any concerning trends or anomalies and help guide you toward appropriate follow-up actions.

Why does a Nurse Practitioner review my lab results?

Having an NP review results provides an extra layer of medical oversight. While our primary focus is on proactive health insights and longevity guidance, the NP’s involvement ensures that any clinically significant findings are properly flagged, giving you confidence in the accuracy and reliability of the information you receive.
